Transracial Parenting Learning Series
Race and culture matter when fostering or adopting transracially. This series of webinars is intended to bring a greater awareness of the importance of racial and ethnic identity to a child’s healthy development. We hope that, through this series, parents will come to have a deeper appreciation of the crucial role we play in raising a child of a different race to feel connected and develop a positive self-identity. Only by educating ourselves and challenging our own beliefs and biases can we help our children navigate the challenges they will face. We are pleased to be able to offer the webinars in this series at no cost.
