WiFCC Family Day at Renaissance Faire: Bristol
July 26 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
This event is intended for adoption, foster, guardianship, relative caregivers, and reunified families.
Join the WiFCC at the Bristol Renaissance Faire on Saturday, July 26th, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. This will be a magical day with your family to step into a day of imagination and fun! Be sure to dress up if you’d like. All fantasy/fictional characters, superheroes, fairies, or cottagecore/renaissance style are welcome (please be mindful that some accessories that may be seen as a weapon may not be permitted).
The Bristol Renaissance Faire is a 30-acre festival that recreates a village festival day in 1574, complete with a variety of entertainment, including jousts, shows, music, dancing, games, rides, and street performers. It features a marketplace with vendors offering a variety of arts and crafts, food, and drinks, and visitors can interact with costumed characters.
There is a limit of 5 tickets maximum per household. Any additional tickets can be purchased through their box office: https://renfair.com/bristol/
Please be mindful of the following:
- Walking: Be prepared for a lot of walking, as the fairgrounds are extensive.
- Cash: Many vendors and attractions may only accept cash, so it’s a good idea to have some on hand.
- Weather: The faire is an outdoor event, so check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
- Sunscreen: Be sure to bring sunscreen, as there can be limited shade in some areas
- Parking: There is a fee to park that is not included with your ticket.
Lastly, we will be having an exciting scavenger hunt for all the families that attend from 11 am-1 pm! Once you check in with your specialist between 10 am and 11 am, there will be a chance to interact with other families and get to know the grounds better. All who complete the scavenger hunt will win a special prize!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Christy at ctimm@cclse.org
Cancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.
