Teen & Caregiver Chocolate Making Class at Tabal Chocolate: Wauwatosa
May 8 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Caregivers and teens–join the Wisconsin Family Connections Center for an evening of connection and fun!
WiFCC will be hosting an introduction to chocolate-making class, which begins by pouring your own chocolate bars and decorating them with toppings. We’ll taste and learn about the different types of single-origin chocolate, their ingredients, and flavor profiles. Also covered is the processing that goes on before the cacao reaches Tabal and the bean-to-bar process. We will go on a world-tasting tour that explores the unique flavor profiles of single-origin chocolate.
There will be two classes: one at 4 p.m. (you must arrive no later than 3:45 p.m.) and one at 5 p.m. (you must arrive no later than 4:45 p.m.). Please ensure the class you sign up for is one you and your teen can attend.
Teens ages 12-18 in families impacted by adoption or out-of-home care are welcome to attend. If you have any questions or need accommodations, please reach out to Christy at ctimm@cclse.org. Please view the Tabal Chocolate website for more information about them here: https://www.tabalchocolate.com/
Please RSVP as soon as possible, as tickets for this event are limited. Also, note this event allows one caregiver + one teen per ticket and up to two tickets (two caregivers + two teens) per household.
Cancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.
