The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is the state agency responsible for overseeing K-12 public education across Wisconsin. DPI provides resources, guidance, and support to schools and educators on topics including trauma-informed practices, special education services, and meeting the unique educational needs of children in foster care and other vulnerable populations.
