Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) is one of the Midwest's largest health and human services organizations, serving nearly 30,000 people annually since its founding in 1882. In child welfare, LSS partners with the State of Wisconsin to provide foster care licensing and support, public adoption services, and children's long-term support programs. Their broader services include mental health, housing, refugee resettlement, and addiction recovery.
