Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth: The Courage+ Approach
When youth feel affirmed and connected, they can feel safe and thrive. This webinar provides an overview of Courage+ programming and the organization’s approach to supporting LGBTQ+ youth through affirming care, housing, community connection, crisis support, and wraparound services. Participants will learn about the unique challenges LGBTQ+ youth face in Wisconsin, particularly those involved in foster care, homelessness, or family rejection, and how Courage+ works to create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where youth can thrive. The webinar will also introduce practical resources, referral pathways, and partnership opportunities available through Courage+. Walk away with actionable tools and affirming practices to better support LGBTQ+ youth.
