Christy Timm has been working in the area of adoption and out-of-home care support since 2020. Previously, Christy worked as a school counselor at a K-8 school in Kenosha County, as well as a couple of schools in the Milwaukee Public School system. She has also worked many years in healthcare at Columbia St. Mary’s on Milwaukee’s lakefront. She enjoys learning about the intricacies of identity and family and how to cultivate resiliency in children. She lives in the greater Milwaukee area with her husband and dog and enjoys spending her free time outside with them, playing volleyball, trivia, or games, and loves to travel and read. Christy says her favorite part of her position as a WiFCC Support Specialist is seeing kids loving the time they get to spend with their families and making memories at our events.
