Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative

The Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) is a federally funded DPI grant program that builds partnerships between families and schools on behalf of children with disabilities. Coordinated through the 12 regional Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESAs), WSPEI provides free training, networking opportunities, and parent liaison services to help families meaningfully participate in special education decisions — including IEP teams — and helps school districts strengthen their family engagement practices.
