Grandfamilies Outcome Workgroup (GrOW)

The Grandfamilies Outcome Workgroup (GrOW) is a national network of researchers, practitioners, and kinship caregivers who work across systems of care to support grandfamilies and kinship families. Founded to address the lack of evidence-based research on support group effectiveness, GrOW develops evaluation tools, measures, and resources to identify needs and promote best practices in partnership with kinship families. Their work includes national surveys, the GrOW Inventory of Support Groups, COVID-19 grandfamily research, and publications in the GrandFamilies journal.
