Empowered to Connect is a faith-based conference and resource platform presented by Show Hope and the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. It equips adoptive and foster parents, church ministry leaders, and child welfare professionals with Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) strategies for connecting with and helping heal children who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect — often called 'children from hard places.' Resources include conferences, videos, articles, and practical tools grounded in Dr. Karyn Purvis's research-based approach to attachment and trauma-informed parenting.
