Oh No, School!

 In

Oh No, School! is the story of a young girl named Holly who does not want to go to school. She has to share toys that she wants to keep to herself, the teacher talks too loudly, and Holly has to practice things she s never done before. Through gentle reassurance and coaching, Holly s mother encourages her to think differently about the things that are bothering her at school.

Holly’s school refusal is a common childhood issue. Starting school can be stressful for some young children, who may experience anxiety stemming from a new routine, new classmates, or new expectations. With colorful illustrations and a character kids can relate to, this book is designed to help address those anxieties and encourage kids to see school as less scary. A Note to Parents is included. (Ages 4-8)
