This booklet was written to acquaint interested persons with issues related to foster care in the hope that several positive things will occur: Potential foster care families and individuals will be able to make an informed decision about applying to become foster parents. School personnel and other agency personnel will better understand issues related to foster children. Individuals involved in foster cae can use some of the ideas and procedures discussed in the booklet to add to the positive things they contribute to the care of foster children.
