SUMMARY:Spiderman Brand New Day (PG-13) Teen/Caregiver Movie Event: Sturtevant
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is required on Eventbrite. (on sale May 25 @6pm) \n\n\n\n\nAttention caregivers and teens impacted by adoption or out-of-home care–join WiFCC to enjoy the movie Spiderman Brand New Day (PG-13) at the Marcus Renaissance Cinema. \nAfter the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home\, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home\, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone\, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name\, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify\, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence\, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced. \nThe movie will begin promptly at 2pm. Please check-in at the WiFCC table in the lobby anytime after 1:20pm. A drink and popcorn are included! \nMovie Information:\nSpiderman Brand New Day (2026)\nRated PG-13 \nPlease register for EVERY PERSON ATTENDING (up to 5 tickets). Your registration number must match the number of people attending a space is limited. \nPlease note that WiFCC will always aim to choose family-friendly films\, however\, we have no control over the content or themes presented in the movie being shown at this event. This includes family dynamics and possible depictions of out-of-home-care and adoption related topics. Please take a moment to visit sites such as https://www.commonsensemedia.org/ or http://www.adoptionlcsw.com/ to see if this film falls within the scope of what you wish your child to see. You can see the trailer for the movie here: https://youtu.be/8TZMtslA3UY?si=dE0iDU0OPMIZRAzM. Please note: you may register children under 13 with your parental discretion\, but please do not register children under 8 years of age. \nDue to popularity of family events\, please let your local WiFCC specialist know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We would like to accommodate as many families as possible. \nIf you have any questions regarding this event\, or have any special accommodation requests\, please contact Christy at ctimm@cclse.org. \nCancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period\, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist. \nThis event is limited to Wisconsin residents impacted by adoption or out-of-home care and their immediate household.

SUMMARY:Family Pizza Party and Silent Disco: WI Dells - Spon. by Jockey Being Family
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is required on Eventbrite. (on sale July 13 @6pm) \n\n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin Family Connections Center\, along with Jockey Being Family\, invites your family to join us in Wisconsin Dells for a night full of pizza\, silent disco\, crafts & games\, and connection! \nOur night will begin with check-in starting at 5:30pm followed by pizza at 6:00pm. The Silent Disco will start at 7:00pm and will be played for approximately 1.5 hours. There will be crafts\, games and prizes! \nA silent disco is like a dance party with a secret soundtrack! Imagine you and your friends each get a pair of special headphones. Instead of music blasting from big speakers\, the music goes straight into your ears. Everyone can be dancing to the same song—or even different songs at the same time! \nTo someone without headphones\, it looks pretty funny:\n– Kids are dancing and singing.\n– Nobody else can hear the music.\n– All you hear are giggles\, footsteps\, and people singing slightly off-key! \nIt’s a bit like being in your own music video while standing in a room full of other music videos. \nNot a dancer? No problem! We’ll have games and crafts ready for you to enjoy after dinner. \nOptional $150 hotel reimbursement: For families who attend the Pizza and Silent Disco night and choose to spend a night at the hotel\, WiFCC will reimburse $150 of your hotel charge (this option must be selected on your event registration). WiFCC block room rates ($119 + $35 Resort fee + tax) are available at The Wilderness Resort (room block details will be in confirmation email message). These reservations must be made no later than August 12\, 2026\, as our rate will be released at that time. Room reservations and all associated costs are the responsibility of each family and will NOT be made by WiFCC\, rather\, families who indicate they would like to receive the $150 reimbursement on their registration form will receive a form upon check-in at the Pizza and Silent Disco and will be mailed the $150 within 3 weeks after the event\, following their return of the form and hotel receipt. There is a limit of one hotel reimbursement per household. \nThis event is intended for foster\, adoptive\, guardianship\, reunified and relative caregiver families residing in the state of Wisconsin. \nDue to popularity of family events\, please let your local WiFCC specialist know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We would like to accommodate as many families as possible. \nIf you have questions about this event\, contact Breanna Calko at bcalko@cclse.org.
