WiFCC Day at a State Park: Kettle Moraine – Mukwonago River Unit

Wisconsin Family Connections Center invites adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative/kinship, and reunified families to kick off a season of nature exploration with a Day at Mukwonago River Unit at Kettle Moraine State Forest! You will have the opportunity to stock up with water and snacks, as well as meet and greet with other families before you head out on your adventure. All families will receive a scavenger hunt activity and a 2024 season vehicle admission sticker for Wisconsin’s State Parks (limit of one pass per family)! Registrants will use the Rainbow Springs Golf Course Entrance (you will receive more details via email as the date approaches).
From the park website: The Mukwonago River Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest is in Waukesha and Walworth counties. The 970-acre, former Rainbow Springs property is situated in the Mukwonago River watershed and is an area known for its outstanding resource waters, varied habitats, and biological diversity.
