Family Ice Skating Sponsored by Jockey Being Family: Howard Commons
February 2 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Come join the WiFCC for an afternoon of ice skating! The event will take place at Howard Commons Activities Complex in Howard, WI. Our group will have access to the hill from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is open to adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative caregivers, and reunified families and individuals.
Please note: Arrive at noon to check in with WiFCC staff, receive your wristband for skating, and receive a free hot chocolate or popcorn with entry. All children must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
This event is outdoors, so dress for snow and cold weather! Concessions will be available for purchase. The event is weather-dependent and may be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled based on anticipated weather in the area or by decisions made by Howard Commons Activities Complex.
This would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. We understand this may not work for all family dynamics, but we encourage you to consider it. We hope to create an opportunity for children to have all their loved ones in one location whenever possible and create positive memories together.

Cancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.
