Family Day at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum: Milwaukee
February 8 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join Wisconsin Family Connections Center staff (WiFCC) for a fun-filled afternoon at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee!
Our group will participate in the “Be A Maker” session from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with the workshop Fluid Formations–Chemical reactions are happening all around us. Participants will learn about states of matter, make observations, and test their hypotheses with exciting science experiments. Join us to investigate how common household items can be transformed into ooey gooey creations! This workshop is ideal for kids 4K-4th grade but is enjoyable for kids of any age. The workshop is approximately 2 hours, but you and your family can enjoy the museum for the rest of the afternoon on your own during operating hours.
Please note that all children at this event must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Food and drink will not be provided by WiFCC but will be available at the museum for individual purchase.
This event would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. We understand this may not work for all families, but we encourage you to consider it. We hope to create an opportunity for children to have all their loved ones in one location whenever possible and create positive memories together. Please have each household register separately.
