Building Relationships: Connecting With Your Child Through Play

Play is an essential part of the human experience. This webinar will explore how play impacts brain development and can be used to strengthen parent-child relationships. Practical strategies to build family connections through play and playfulness will be explored and identified.
Presented by: Shanna Sullivan (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™. Shanna has been a Child and Family Therapist in the Milwaukee area for the past fifteen years and has dedicated her career to helping kids and families discover how playing together creates a path to healing. Shanna strongly believes in guiding children and families to use their inner strength and life experiences to heal. In addition to professional training, Shanna brings a lived and learned perspective as a foster and adoptive parent.
